"How do we make the most informed decisions about how we feed ourselves?"
Plan on attending the Free public screening of Food Evolution (https://www.foodevolutionmovie.com/), the evocative and thought-provoking documentary on the status of food and the use of genetically modified organisms (GMO) in agriculture and food production.
This 92-minute film is narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson, a well-known science communicator and astrophysicist. Directed by Academy-Award nominee Scott Hamilton Kennedy, the film will be followed with a panel of scientists and community members discussing the issues raised in the film.
This event will be in support of the University of Alberta Campus Food Bank. Non-perishable food items will be gratefully accepted at the screening.
