This is a free lecture and is open to the public. The lectures are geared towards researchers, clinicians, students and hospital staff.

A light lunch will be served.

Dr. Beth Rachlis is an epidemiologist at the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) and an Assistant Professor in the Division of Clinical Public Health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. In her role as Researcher-in-Residence at the OHTN, Dr. Rachlis is interested in understanding HIV care engagement among participants of the OHTN Cohort Study and in Ontario as a whole. She has a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto. Her doctoral research examined HIV care retention among people living with HIV in Malawi. Prior to joining OHTN, Dr. Rachlis completed a postdoctoral fellowship with AMPATH in Kenya evaluating their Find-Treat-Link-Retain program. She also has a Master’s degree from the University of British Columbia where she studied migration among people who inject drugs and how that affects HIV risk. Her research interests include health equity and access, global health and understanding the social drivers of HIV care.
