Event description

Description

The Forestry Futures Trust Committee invites you to attend an Enhanced Forest Resource Inventory (eFRI) Knowledge Transfer & Tool Development (KTTD) Symposium being held on November 1-2, 2017 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The event will be held at the Valhalla Inn from 12:00pm to 4:30pm on November 1 and 8:30am to 1:00pm on November 2, with lunch being provided on both days. The Symposium will showcase projects funded through the eFRI KTTD Program and promote the transfer of knowledge and technology to a wide audience.

The eFRI KTTD Program was initiated by the Ontario Government to fund studies that supported one or more of the following objectives: develop and/or update decision support tools linking the eFRI to forest management and operational planning; refine the image interpretation or inventory development; and/or incorporate training opportunities to upgrade the skills of users of Ontario’s eFRI.

To view the Symposium's agenda and summary of topics, please refer to our website at www.forestryfutures.ca. For those who cannot attend, a live broadcast will be available on November 1st and 2nd on our website and then archived for later viewing.

There is no admission charge for this event. Please feel free to forward this invitation.
