Event description
Would you like to connect with other parents of Children/Youth with Autism?
About this Event
This social event is for parents and caregivers of children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Please join us for an hour and a half social event where parents can share information with each other, chat about difficulties that their child/children are having, provide support and guidance to one another, and socialize! Please join us if you would like to meet other parents of children and youth with ASD in a positive and caring environment.
This group is facilitated by a Service Coordinator who is available to provide resources and support, or a listening ear if needed, but this is also an open forum for PARENTS to connect and socialize.
This workshop is funded by the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) as a Foundational Family Service.
Requirements: This group is intended for parents and caregivers of children and youth (under the age of 18) with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Parents and caregivers can attend one or both of these parent social/support groups.
Tech Requirements: Must have the ability to connect to Zoom (Computer or handheld devices, such as a tablet or a cellphone).
Please check out our full calendar of events for Foundational Family Services and more by visiting our website at www.canopysupport.ca/events/ or by following us on Facebook.
