Overview:

If you’re an entry-level information management professional, the ARMA International Foundations of Information Management Certificate is a great opportunity to acquire a broad base of fundamental skills and knowledge.

This certification seminar is a 1.5 day (10 hours) of face-to-face class room instruction that focuses on the best practices in today’s most important functional areas in RIM. Topics include managing electronic records, performing legally defensible e-discovery, developing a business continuity plan, reducing threats to privacy, and much more. In this classroom setting, you can ask the instructor questions, learn from real-world exercises, and network with other professionals.

Course Materials & Exam:

Registrants will receive course materials from ARMA International and a certificate of completion. These materials will be provided at the start of the course. Following the course, you will be given the registration information to take the on-line exame from ARMA International for the certificaiton.

Nourishment:

Coffee and snacks will be served on Friday and on Saturday. Meals will not be provided, but there's great eateries on Lonsdale near City Hall. The class will break for lunch on Saturday.

Instructor:

The course will be taught by Alexandra (Sandie) Bradley, CRM, FAI. Sandie is a local legend, and the president and the principal consultant for Harwood Information Associates Limited in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She has been a member of ARMA for 30 years and is an author, and frequent speaker at local, national, and international records/information management events. Sandie is also an adjunct professor in records and information asset management and information consulting at the iSchool (Library, Archival and Information Studies), University of British Columbia.
