Legendary Scottish multi-instrumentalist and composer Fred Morrison brings his intensely expressive, uniquely adventurous musical style to Winnipeg for the first time.

Born and raised near Glasgow, Morrison’s first love is the great Highland bagpipe, but over the years his musical mastery has expanded to encompass Scottish smallpipes or reelpipes (his signature instrument), whistles and Irish uilleann pipes. His diverse musical influences range from his native Scotland to Ireland, Brittany, Spain and even American bluegrass.

Joining Fred Morrison on-stage for this evening of Celtic fun will be the Winnipeg Police Pipe Band.
