Description

Ottawa's premier oration competition for high school students. Competitors each prepare and perform one soliloquy and one sonnet. As judged by a jury of prominent local artists and scholars, the winning four presenters and school will share $1200 in prize money.

The 26th annual Shakespeare on the Platform contest will be held on Wednesday, November 6th, at 6:00 pm in the University of Ottawa's Academic Hall, 133 Seraphin Marion Private, Ottawa

Teachers, parents, friends, and lovers of Shakespeare are welcome to attend free of charge.

Students, Parents, and Teachers interested in the competition can register an Expression of Interest here. The deadline for applications is Friday, October 25th.
