About this event
Imagine In The Park is a free children's arts festival held annually in Gage Park on the first Saturday in June ( June 4, 2022).
Our festival features on hands-on workshops hosted by professional local artists in various forms of the arts such as: dance, music, storytelling, poetry, drawing, performance arts and much more. We have been putting our unique festival on for 11 years!
Children get to learn hands-on from local professional artists and some workshops even have a take home element! Every child receives a new book for free, and we have 2 shows by Dan The Music Man, and a performance by The Beat with African Drumming. Children ages 4-10 will love Imagine In The Park Festival! If you have littles, we will have a Kids Zone ran by Today's Family (Parents must stay with children- not a drop-off service).
New to 2022 is a special Telling Tales Stage featuring authors from the Telling Tales festival (September 24-25 at RGB) Nadia Hohn, Aimee Reid and Andrew Larsen.
Masks are encouraged!
We will have food trucks and ice cream available on site, or bring a picnic lunch!
Follow along on our Facebook or Instagram pages to learn about the artists and their workshops!
Some of the workshops available are:
Ceramics - Painting - Drawing - Meditation - Arts & Crafts - Music - Dance - Theatre
