Computer Science Education Week is taking place the week of December 7 - 11and it has never been a better year to get started with coding!
Join us LIVE with your class to get hands-on with code all throughout Computer Science Education Week!
From creating fun animations and simulators with Micro:Bit to designing our own fully playable video games with MakeCode Arcade, our expert instructors will lead you and your class through a coding learning journey like you've never seen.
We will also make clear connections to the new Ontario Math Curriculum expectations as they relate to coding. Classes from across Canada are welcome to join; these curriculum expectations are relevant to all students as they explore the world of code! No previous experience is necessary.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
1. Register for as many sessions as you'd like! We'll be exploring tons of different coding activities throughout the week.
2. The workshops can be done with all students in Grades 4-8, whether they are learning in-person or virtually at home.
3. Join during the session time to work with our instructors live through Microsoft Teams along with other classes across Canada (don't worry; they can't see you or your students!)
4. Prefer to do the workshop at a time that works for you? Register anyway and you can receive access to a recording of the session.
5. The workshops will be run virtually through Microsoft Teams. Students will need a laptop/Chromebook with an internet connection to participate.
6. Once you have registered for the workshop, you will receive a separate email containing more details at least 48 hours before the start of your session. Be sure to add info@stemminds.com to your approved contacts list!
This workshop series is offered free of charge thanks to the generous sponsorship of Microsoft.
