Simcoe Contemporary Dancers will be offering free dance workshops at the Five Points Theatre nightly from March 2-4 with live accompaniment provided by professional percussionist, Joe Adamick!

Dance workshops will consist of the following components:

- A fun community building drum circle warm-up will be taught by Joe from 6:30-6:55, no experience required!

- The dance workshop component will consist of floor-work, centre practice, travelling work and movement combinations from 7-7:45 taught by a member of Simcoe Contemporary Dancers.

Dance Workshop Topics are as follows:

March 2 - Beginner Contemporary Technique

March 3 - Dance Improvisation

March 4 - Beginner Contemporary Choreography

*Workshops will be taught at a beginner level but not absolute beginner. All are welcome whether you have a lot of experience with movement or a little! We invite you to come try it out and just have fun! Modifications can be provided to fit a variety of experience levels. Our classes are open to teens and adults but age exemptions are considered on a case by case basis.*
