Trying to find employment and succeed in the “new normal” workplace can be hard. This FREE online training program can help you.

About this Event

The Connecting and Learning to Manage during COVID-19 (CALM) Program is an 8-week on-line program designed to help you develop strategies and build skills to flourish though challenging situations.

This program will combine workshops and activities to assist you to understand and manage stress, set personal and professional goals and create plans to see those goals come true. You will also recieve one-on-one coaching sessions and supports.

Join this program to:

• Develop an action plan for future employment opportunities

• Receive weekly one-on-one virtual session with a life coach

• Identify and build upon your personal strengths and transferable skills

• Increase emotional intelligence and stress management strategies

• Network and develop new community connections

• Develop a community of peer and mentor supports

To be eligible:

• Recipient of Ontario Works

• 18 years of age and older

• Reliable access to internet

• Computer or cell phone that can support Zoom meetings

This programs is being delivered in partnership by industry training leaders, The Hospitality Workers Training Centre and OTEC.
