This class is designed for beginner beekeepers, or curious individuals that want to know more about what's involved in setting up a hive, and producing your own urban honey.

This class will focus on the beekeeper's journey through a full year, and will cover some of the basics of hive management, including:

  • Growing your colony in the spring,

  • Harvesting honey in the fall
  • Preparing your hive for the winter
