**IMPORTANT** Every school has a different schedule. If you can't make the live workshop time, register anyway to receive a recording of the session to follow along with your students at a time that works for you! **MINECRAFT LICENSES** Minecraft: Education Edition is a license-based tool. If you are a teacher in the boards listed here, you already have access to Minecraft: Education Edition. Inspire your students to learn with Minecraft!

Minecraft: Education Edition helps teachers bring game-based, multi-disciplinary, curriculum connected learning to their students whether they are learning in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid mode.

Join us LIVE with your class to get hands-on with Minecraft through fun, curriculum connected activities! From exploring the world of math through hands-on building challenges, to creating an interactive story world, to learning how to teach coding with Minecraft, there are tons of opportunities to engage your students in powerful learning experiences.

With the guidance of our expert instructors, you and your class will discover the power of Minecraft to build a classroom community of fearless learners.

While this workshop is intended for Grades 4-6, teachers in grades 7&8 are welcome to join. No previous experience with Minecraft is necessary. Students will need to download Minecraft: Education Edition prior to the workshop. (available for Windows/Mac, iPad, and Chromebooks). Teachers may need to contact their board's IT department in order to activate student licenses to provide students with their account and password. Session Descriptions

Thursday, May 20 from 11:00 am - 12:15 pm EST | We will explore the world of math and Minecraft as students explore concepts related to patterning, measurement, fractions and more through hands-on challenges.

Here's How It Works

1. Register for as many sessions as you'd like! We'll be exploring a range of projects across different sessions.

2. The workshops can be done with all students in Grades 4-6, whether they are learning in-person or virtually at home.

3. Join during the session time to work with our instructors live along with other classes across Canada (don't worry; they can't see you or your students!)

4. Prefer to do the workshop at a time that works for you? Register anyway and you can receive access to a recording of the session. Recordings are valid until June 30, 2021.

5. The workshops will be run virtually through Microsoft Teams Live Events. Students will need a laptop/Chromebook with an internet connection to participate. You do NOT need to download Microsoft Teams.

6. Once you have registered for the workshop, you will receive a separate email containing more details at least 48 hours before the start of your session. Be sure to add info@stemminds.com to your approved contacts list!

7. Students will need to download Minecraft: Education Edition prior to the workshop (available for Windows/Mac, iPad, and Chromebooks). Teachers may need to contact their board's IT department in order to activate student licenses to provide student's with their account and password.
