About this event
Join us for this free community movie screening of SCRAP – a documentary film by Stacey Tenenbaum. Discover the vast and strangely beautiful places where things go to die and meet the people who collect, restore, and recycle the world's scrap. SCRAP scratches beneath flaking paint and rusting metal to reveal the beauty and pathos in the ugliness we leave behind. Watch the trailer here
Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. A donation box will be available at the screening with all proceeds going to the local not-for-profit Squamish ReBuild. This organization is currently looking for new leadership and transition funding, and the Squamish ReBuild team will join us for this movie screening. Find out more about Squamish ReBuild’s plans here.
