Webinar Details:

"Free, Prior and Informed Consent"

What does Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) mean to each of the parties in a typical mining project? What does it mean to governments, to Indigenous Nations, to practitioners, to communities? This presentation will highlight multi-party perspectives on FPIC against the backdrop of Wet'suwet'en opposition and present what it means for projects in the mining sector in the near future. Implications for different stages of mining projects as well as the sector as a whole will be presented.

We are hosting a free webinar, starting with the presentation as described below and followed by a question and answer period and open dialogue on the topic. We hope you will join us, and invite others to join you!
