Event description

Description

During this interactive workshop, you will have an opportunity to explore the principles of trauma- and violence-informed care (TVIC), and learn to employ this approach within your practice to challenge the stigma associated with STBBIs, sexuality, and substance use. You will gain practical tools and skills to integrate TVIC into your interactions with service users, and into the policies and practices of your organizations in order to contribute to safer and more inclusive sexual health, harm reduction and STBBI-related services.

For more information on the workshop, please contact Rachel at rmaclean@cpha.ca. For those travelling from a community outside of Whitehorse, please contact Esther at partnership@bloodties.ca for information regarding travel bursaries.
