Event description
Join us for an outdoor yoga practice at Queen's park every Sunday and Monday. Free moderate vinyasa flow class, donations are encouraged.

About this event

Moderate vinyasa flow class suitable for beginners as well as advanced practitioners. Anyone looking to breathe and move outdoors in the park!

Class will be held in the northwest corner by the King Edward VII Equestrian Statue.

Please bear in mind classes are weather dependent!

Classes are donation based. Donations will support local businesses in Toronto that are affected by COVID-19. Contribute what you can to help your local businesses and community!

To donate online: use Interac or paypal @ connectandgrowyoga@gmail.comYou can also bring cash on the day of the practise.

COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Please be mindful of this when you join us. See you there!

In order to respect the social distancing protocols and recommendations for our area, we are asking that all attendees comply with the following guidelines to ensure that our outdoor yoga experience respects the health and safety of everyone.

- Please sign up to the event to alert your instructor you are coming

-Please bring your own mat, water, accessories and towel

-Please maintain a minimum of six feet distance from other participants who are not members of your household

-Please wear a mask at all times when you may be keeping less than six feet distance from others

- Instructor will not be making any hands-on adjustments during class

-Please stay home if you have any symptoms or feel unwell

You understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension. If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the posture. You may rest at any time during the class. If you experience any pain or discomfort, you will listen to your body and inform the instructor immediately. You, understand that Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. You should consult a physician prior to beginning any activity program, including yoga. You recognize that it is your responsibility to notify the instructor of pregnancy, any serious illness or injury before every yoga class. You affirm that you alone are responsible to decide whether to practice yoga. You hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that you have now or hereafter may have against (Connect and Grow, Sneha Nemichand or any teacher affiliated with Connect and Grow). Those under 18 years of age must have this form signed by a parent or guardian.
