Description

From Darkness to Light: A Personal Resilience Workshop

Hosted by Kelly Jamieson, MAL student, Royal Roads University

"Resilience is the virtue that enables people to move through hardship and become better. No one escapes pain, fear, and suffering. Yet from pain can come wisdom, from fear can come courage, from suffering can come strength -- if we have the virtue of resilience." -Eric Greitens, Navy SEAL

Join Kelly on Saturday, October 21, 2017 for a free 3-hour workshop about personal resilience.

In this interactive and engaging session, Kelly will take you on a journey of understanding resilience, with guided exploration of yourself and your own personal resilience. You'll learn about the science and art behind developing mental toughness, and leave with some tools that you can hopefully use to help you navigate or overcome the struggles you face in life.

This session is free of charge and open to everyone! Small snacks and beverages will be available for participants.

Date: Saturday, October 21, 2017

Time: 900am to 1200pm

Location: YWCA Hotel - CANFOR Room
