The 0 + 2 Methodology for Recovering a Failing Project
About this Session:
According to many estimates, one out of two software development projects is significantly off its original plan and can be considered to be failing. When such a state is discovered and reluctantly examined, closer tracking and stricter command and control procedures are often the result. The attempt to recover the failing project is based on the same mindset and methodology that created the situation. By not making significant changes, the situation goes from bad to worst.
This presentation examines in some detail the 0+2 Steps Approach to Project Recovery©,an algorithm, some of the lessons learned and practices that proved effective in getting bad or failing projects back on track.
Presenter: Charles Villanyi Bokor, Strategic Management Consultant is focused on Business Process Transformation and Organizational Change Management, Problem Project Recovery & Leadership, Strategic Planning and Education. Charles was the seminar leader of Problem Project Management, and author of From Re-Covering to Recovering Projects that Went Bad, on which this presentation is based.
Charles has post graduate degrees from McGill, Université de Grenoble and Université de Montréal, he is past director at CMC, PMI & past Governor for ICCC.
