Event description
Perspectives on progress in the DEI space and actionable strategies for attendees to integrate DEI into communications and the workplace.

About this event

The last two and a half years have been marked with widespread social change as organizations across the globe have accelerated their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) plans and adapted their focus to listen to their people, understand their perspectives and act on employee and expert recommendations.

Communications professionals have been critical to ensuring this work is shared in a strategic, clear and impactful way. But how can communicators continue to do this effectively? What strategies and tactics can companies consider to make DEI part of every process? How do we know if we’re doing it right or wrong?

Join us for a fireside chat with David Simmonds, Senior Vice-President, Global Chief Communications & Sustainability Officer, Great-West Lifeco & Canada Life, where he’ll share:

  • More about his personal and professional experiences
  • His perspective on progress in the DEI space
  • Actionable strategies for attendees to integrate DEI into their work and lives

You’ll also have opportunities to interact with David throughout, through live polls and an open Q&A period. This session will be moderated by Cassandra Caranci, Vice President, IABC London.

The meeting link will be emailed to you prior to the event. If you experience any difficulties with registration, please email iabclondonprodev@gmail.com.
