About this event
Vienna and Paris were home to Baroque and Classical genius. This concert showcases a classical guitar concerto (Vivaldi), concerto for two trumpets (Vivaldi), Eine Kleine Nachtmusik for strings (Mozart), and a symphony by Bologne. Joseph Bologne, a contemporary of Mozart was the first famous black composer in Europe and accomplished in athletics, military training, musical performance and composition. The concert will reflect these different styles and be heard in the wonderful acoustics of the St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral.
This performance will follow the BC Centre for Disease Control requirements for the prevention of COVID-19 transmission. News released March 10 indicates that vaccine passports will no longer be required as of April 9. Masks continue to be encouraged in settings with large gatherings and less access for ventilation. Distancing will no longer be required but we plan to keep patrons comfortably spaced with less than a full house sales planned.
