Session 1: Parallel Paths

September 22, 2022: 3:30-4:45pm PDT

How does our professional learning journey mirror and reflect what we want for learners, families and communities? How do we enter this work in a spirit of collaboration? How does our learning parallel that of learner’s in our classrooms and schools? What are the impacts of stress and trauma and how do we nourish our spirits?

Session 2: Being in Relation-to and Being in Relationship-with

October 27, 2022: 3:30-4:45pm PDT

How do we learn and grow in reciprocal relationships? What are reciprocal relationships? How does history influence our current and future relationships? How does the interconnectedness between educators, learners, the land and water impact the decisions we make? How does focusing on relationships influence systems?

Session 3: Intersectionality of Indigenous Education, Equity and Anti-Racism

January 19, 2023: 3:30-4:45pm PST

How do we engage in challenging conversations about systemic racism to help us create and equitable education system for Indigenous learners? Why is this also necessary for non-Indigenous learners? How do we use our spheres of influence to create change? How do we hold space and compassion for ourselves as learners in this work?

Session 4: Emerging Themes and Transformations in Indigenous Education
