Event description
A leaders summit focused on empowering BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) students.

About this Event

The recent incidents that took place at Glenview Senior Public school regarding racially charged bullying and #JusticeForGenesis sparked an important conversation about how we need to move forward on addressing youth violence and further empower young people of colour.

An initiative of this nature is important to the RSU. Students in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in skill building workshops, hear from expert and student speakers and engage in a creative session on how to take action against bullying and improve safe school initiatives.

Food will be provided.

The Ryerson Students' Union strive to create accessible and inclusive spaces for all its members, if we require any accommodations to ensure your full participation, please contact internal@rsuonline.ca.

Registration begins at 9:30am outside of the Tecumseh Auditorium. Event starts at 10am.

*Tickets are free, however make sure to grab a ticket in order to secure a seat as space is limited.*

WHO ARE WE?
