About ACRP Canada:

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) is setting standards for clinical research competence and workforce development. A Washington, DC-based non-profit organization with more than 13,000 members, ACRP supports professionals and organizations across the clinical research enterprise with the Membership, Training, and Certification programs necessary for clinical trial quality and efficiency improvements.  The Canadian Chapter of the ACRP was founded in 1997 by a group of Canadian clinical research professionals looking for educational and networking opportunities with a distinctly Canadian flavour. Since its inception, the chapter has grown to over 186 members across the country.  Consider membership in the Canadian Chapter to be involved in a great organization and take advantage of distinctly Canadian offerings and opportunities.

Excellence in Clinical Innovation and Technology Evaluation (EXCITE) is an innovative program that focuses on pre-adoption evidence-based assessment of new, breakthrough health technologies.  The focus of MaRS EXCITE is expedited health system adoption of impactful technologies, through early collaboration between industry, academia, regulators, payers, government and the broader health system.  EXCITE connects health technology innovators with experienced, award-winning researchers to get the right evidence and data they need to show the value of their product and facilitates discussions with relevant health system stakeholders to determine what it takes to get their technology adopted successfully.
