About this Event

Wednesday, April 28, 2021 | 1 – 3 p.m. ET | Zoom Webinar

The Waterloo Region Future of Work & Learning Coalition was established in 2019 with the goal of promoting community and cross-sectoral collaboration to solve common challenges and work towards future proofing our community.

In this two-hour webinar, we’ll hear from the Future of Work & Learning Coalition co-chairs and representatives from participating organizations as they reflect on the coalition’s journey from conception to where they are today. We’ll also discuss the work they have accomplished over the past year, the benefits that belonging to the Future of Work & Learning Coalition has brought their organization, what’s next and how to future proof talent and the workplace with a collaborative approach.

Opening overview:

Simon Chan, Communitech’s VP of Talent, Academy and Future of Work, and co-chair of the Future of Work & Learning Coalition will provide an overview of how the group has been promoting and piloting cross-industry collaboration to solve common challenges for talent and the workplace.
