Future Workforce is a gathering of 200+ employers of students and new grads and as well as the educators who support students’ development and transition to the workplace.

Future Workforce is an opportunity to:

• Discover and celebrate innovative employer recruitment and campus career development initiatives and collaborations through presentations, awards and recognition

• Learn about the latest challenges and opportunities resulting from the changing workplace through keynotes and plenary sessions;

• Create new employer-educator partnerships through a unique “campus marketplace” that will connect employers with schools and programs

• Explore new research and information before it is released to the public;

• Develop new skills through pre-conference training programs;

• Access new learning and development through hands-on workshops and presentations of programs and initiatives; and,

• Connect and share with 200+ employers and educators from across Canada

The Age of Disruption and the Future Workforce

The age of disruption is creating unexpected challenges for employers, universities, and colleges to ensure Canada’s youth are prepared for the future workforce.

Many alarming reports and forecasts have projected massive changes to the future of work as a result of robotics, AI, the gig economy, the evolving global marketplace, and numerous other factors.

But leading Canadian organizations are not waiting for change. They are embracing it.

Today’s unprecedented focus on students’ workplace readiness and career development – including experiential learning, evolving curriculum and pedagogy, and new approaches to corporate training programs – is leading to change that demands to be celebrated and shared.

Future Workforce is about these innovations and the innovators that are turning challenges into opportunities for today’s youth.
