FVCC "Heart of Beautiful BC" award night with the Lieutenant Governor of BC

The Fraser Valley Children's Choir was started in the fall of 2017 with founding Artistic Director Heidi Epp. It currently has 3 divisions, the Dolce and Cantabile Choirs and their Urban Percussion group, UP! The choirs are for agres rangiong from 5 - 19 years of age. The Urban Percussion group is for 10 - 19 years. In their inaugural year they won 2 awards. First the Cantabile Choir won first place in the 18 and under category of "Sing Me A Song" competition sponsored by the Lieutenant Governenor of BC, Jane Austin with their original composition, "The Heart of Beautiful BC". Then they won first place in the Yarrow Days Parade for their Float and live performance of "The Hero and the Dragon". The Fraser Valley Children's Chorus

<P>The FVCC Cantabile Choir will be performing their original composition "The Heart of Beautiful BC" and receiving their first place award personally from the Lieutenant Governor of BC, the Honourable Janet Austin. This is a major community event and honour for not only the FVCC but the Yarrow Community.  We want to have a full house but not turn anyone away. The event is free but you will need a ticket to get in. There will be a reception following the event. </P>
