Galatea Creek and Lillian Lake Hike

About this Event
Join us for a winter hike along Galatea Creek to Lillian Lake!
We will plan to meet at the Galatea parking lot at 8:45am start the hike at 9:00am.
The hike in Alltrails is described as 12.4km in length and 588m of elevation. There is avalanche risk beyond the lake, so we will not go any further.
This is a winter hike, so please be prepared with proper gear and layers!!

Please note, this event is to occur in accordance with the public health guidance for outdoor gatherings from the Alberta Government. This means:
• Stay home and away from others if you or someone you have been in close contact with is exhibiting COVID 19 symptoms
• Maintain a physical distance of 2 meters at all times
o walk along the sides of trails and other public pathways to maintain distance
• Refrain from sharing equipment (including carpooling)
• Consider taking additional precautions such as:
o wearing a mask to help limit the risk of spread to others
o download and use the ABTraceTogether mobile contact tracing app
• Practice good hand hygiene:
o wash your hands frequently
o refrain from touching your face with unclean hands
o carry and use hand sanitizer
