Welcome Back to Gals on the Green!
The goal of this golf day is to bring female friends of all ages together to raise money for the IWK Child Life Department. Child Life is an essential part of the integrated care teams at the IWK year round. While doctors and nurses have stethoscopes and other equipment to do their jobs, child life specialists use play and self-expression as their tools to help children and youth cope with the potential stress or trauma caused by events like the diagnosis of an illness, an injury, the treatment process and hospitalization. As they say at the IWK, “Child Life is good medicine!”
We hope you will support us by joining us for a fun day on the golf course.
Tournament Details:
Registration from 9am - 10am
Shotgun Start 10am - Best Ball Format
Lunch and awards immediatly following play.

Origionally started in 2007 by a group of female friends who wanted to get together in a positive, social way to support the IWK Child Life Department.
The Gals behind this event would like to acknowledge the support and inspiration they have received from the Auxiliary if the IWK. Since 1946, this incredible group of women (and men) have raised over 7 million dollars to the IWK in capital, medical equipment and special projects including the Child Life Department.
We understand the impact Child Life has on patients and families and will continue to support Family Programming in a positive way!
