About this Event

The Etobicoke Camera Club has created an exciting lineup of accomplished photographers for their 2020-2021 VIRTUAL program

Fourth in the ONLINE series, ECC presents Gareth Jones LIVE

Gareth will be presenting Creative Imagery, My Journey followed by an interactive Q&A session.

Creative Imagery, My Journey - I will show how all photographers are creative, but by showing my journey into creative digital photography, I hope to encourage all to embrace their creativity and really push their images to the max.

About Gareth Jones

Photography is Gareth’s artistic release and brings his imagination, vision and inquisitive mind to visual life following a career as a forensic scientist.

Gareth’s art explores bold abstracts or unique perspectives created from his original photographs or digital art and presents moments of beauty, quiet joy or intrigue, in balance with drawing attention to important issues.

Everyone needs a break from today’s unending negative news and Gareth provides a breather from the stress of today’s world whilst still bringing difficult issues into his art. Gareth is convinced that balance is a critical life component and hopes his art will heal this disparate world through creative expressions, thoughtful moments and visual enjoyment.

Gareth photographs everything, big and small, that makes him stop, look, think, smile, or feel and then puts his unique take on it. Gareth’s images often offer something to everyone. His curiosity fuels exploration of the world via the abstract and imaginative images that arise from his on-going search for images that “click”.

Gareth is touching people with his images and that is his inspiration.
