BPW Calgary will be gathering visionaries to formally launch its Generation Equality Campaign. We have been empowering women since 1927 when one of the Famous Five, our Founding Member Nellie McClung, brought us together to explore issues that mattered the most to women. Today in the context of the global pandemic, we continue to work on accelerating gender equality actions here and around the world. We know that recovery and growth cannot happen without women at the forefront. Join us as we showcase how we are driving urgent action and accountability on gender equality at the local and international levels. Together we can achieve transformative change for generations to come!

Anna Falth is the Head of the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Secretariat at UN Women. She holds a Master of Science in Economics from Sweden and a Masters in Law and Economics from Germany. Anna started in the Refugee and Immigration Service and Sweden and joined the United Nations system in 1998. She has held economic advisor positions in UNCTAD, UNDP, UN-DESA and is now at UN Women. At UN Women she has been Manager of Empower Women, WEPs, WeLearn and Equals. Currently she is Senior Program Manager and Policy Advisor for WEPs.

Jenny Gulamani-Abdulla is the Taskforce Chairperson for Women Migrants and Global Citizenship at the International Federation of Business and Professional Women. She holds a Juris Doctor of Law from USA and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Canada. Jenny has been practicing Immigration in Canada since 1994. She is Co-Founder of the Canadian Federation For Citizenship. At BPW, Jenny has served as President at the local and national levels. Currently she is listed as Subject Matter Expert on Immigration at BPW International, Informed Opinions, and His Highness The Aga Khan Council for Canada.
