About this event
What better time to give back than during the holiday season? On the evening of Friday, December 9th, the Garnet Key Society will be hosting Generous Hearts at Salon O'Brian Family on Loyola Campus! This event will be a fundraiser for La Maison Tangente, a housing facility located in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve that offers accommodation to young adults aged 18 to 25.
To spice things up, the fundraiser will take the form of a gala with a “dress to impress” flair! This fundraiser will be an opportunity for you to dress up, network, and enjoy a nice dinner all while making a real difference in the lives of homeless youth. You will get to enjoy live musical performances by Concordia musicians, a three-course meal prepared by one of the university’s best catering services, a raffle, a 50/50 donation draw, and a photobooth setup!
To purchase a ticket and attend Generous Hearts, please register using the Eventbrite link! Entrance to the event is 10$. If you wish to participate in the raffle, the first 30 entries will be priced at 10$ (for 3 enteries) and all remaining entries at 15$. All ticket and raffle proceeds will be donated to La Maison Tangente, and each raffle ticket sold will enter you three entries for a chance to win a prize. Get your ticket before it’s too late!
Founded in 1987, La Maison Tangente is well-known for the work they do in assisting homeless youth through their transition to adulthood. They offer housing, support to start work and education, cloths, and food to their members.

Located in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighborhood in Montreal for almost 40 years, La Maison Tangente offers safe accommodation and transitional housing to a mixed clientele of young adults aged 18 to 25. The stay allows homeless youth, or youth living in unsafe housing situations, to regain power over their lives: to focus on their health and wellbeing; start school, training, or work; as well as learn important life skills in an environment of respect and dignity.
