Event Details

Geocaching (Prospect Human Services)

Geo-caching is quickly becoming a favourite activity for many Calgarians. Geo-caching is a real-world, outdoor treasure-hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants will learn to navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and attempt to find hidden objects in the Municipal Plaza. This session will be lead by adults with developmental disabilities and is intended to challenge and shape students' perceptions about disabilities. Prospect's expert outdoor staff will also be on site to answer any questions and support this urban adventure.

* Please Note this is an outdoor venue
