Way Back, a new audio play

“When life is about stories, we develop empathy”

GeriActors is an intergenerational theatre company in Edmonton ranging in age from early twenties to ninety. Our plays are based on true stories, focusing on ageing rather than age, and celebrating our commonalities.

Way Back is about the years, days, months, and hours throughout our lives. A kaleidoscope of true stories – growing up during WWII, farm life in Alberta and Sri Lanka, birth and motherhood, growing up in Trinidad, and more – our new play remembers the moments of joy, hardship, triumph and magic we all experience.

• Tuesday, May 18 at 1:00pm MDT
• Thursday, May 20 at 7:00pm MDT
• Saturday, May 29 at 1:00pm MDT

Where: On ZOOM (link to performance will be emailed with ticket purchase)

Cost: Pay-what-you-can

What to expect:

• Performances will take place on Zoom. For more info on Zoom click here.
• When you purchase your ticket you will receive a confirmation email with a link to watch the show. If you don’t receive an email check your spam folder, or email us at geriactors.friends@gmail.com.
• Tickets are per device, not per person. If a group will be watching together you can just buy 1 ticket.
• You’ll want a quiet space, reliable internet, and a device with speakers (phone, tablet, computer).
