About this Event

Getting In Trouble: Trying the Impossible to See What Happens – with Becky Johnson

One class. Three and a half hours. $50.

Wednesday, July 31, 6:00-9:30

From our first-ever Comedian-In-Residence comes this unique elective focused on putting you in the hot seat, for the audience’s pleasure. When we improvise, we often stop ourselves before we are really cooking, we try to right uncomfortable situations before we are done exploring them and finding the comedy within. Improv is a high wire act, thrilling the audience with its riskiness. Let’s try the impossible and see what happens. This workshop focuses on the delight of being in over one’s head instead of in one’s head.

Pre-requisite: to register for this elective, you must have completed at least Intro 2 and been given permission to take Intro 3, or explain your equivalent experience by emailing directors@blindtigercomedy.ca.
