Description

Are there children at your child care centre who are resistant eaters?

In this workshop, scientist and author Karen Le Billon will give you information to help get past children’s food resistance. Grounded in revolutionary new research on the science of taste, Karen will share strategies to encourage even the most reluctant eaters to branch out.

  1. Learn how our own attitudes towards food and eating affect menu planning and the child care eating environment.
  2. Understand how a child care menu can support children to like a variety of foods.
  3. Get practical ideas for engaging children in the process of learning to like more foods.
  4. Find out how to engage parents in creating supportive eating environments at home.
