Giselle Vriesen: One-Page Comic Creation
Event Information
About this Event
In this workshop you will go from idea to the creation of a one-page comic. Giselle will walk you through how to take an idea and express it precisely through colour, image, and writing.
We will be using watercolour, acrylic, ink, pencil crayons, and pencils. Although this workshop is for a one-page comic, this one page may become the first page of your very own comic book.

Giselle is a multi-medium artist currently spiraling in the comic book world. She is expanding into new ways of blending storytelling with her art and is always in the middle of a huge project. Right now it's actually two projects: editing a novel and creating a comic book. She loves reading other peoples stories and exploring new worlds. Her favourite genres to read are historical fiction, sci-fi, and coming-of-age.
She illustrated The Moon in You: A Period Book for Girls.
