To accelerate moving the needle, we invite you to our GLOBAL PARITY SUMMIT to celebrate our 10th anniversary. This unique online event will be held the evening of Thursday, November 12th as well as part of the day on Friday, November 13th, 2020 (Yes! A Friday the 13th under the theme of daring to challenge the status quo and preconceived ideas) and will bring together Canadian and international leaders, women and men, working together for the achievement of gender parity.

This Summit will be co-chaired by MONIQUE LEROUX, Vice-Chair Fiera Holdings and Chair of Canada’s Industry Strategy Council, and NORMAN STEINBERG, Vice-Chair at BFL Canada

Founded in 2010, Women in Governance is the leading non-profit organization in Canada, with a global scope, working to close the gender gap in the corporate world.

To support women in their leadership development, career advancement and access to Board seats, Women in Governance offers an international mentoring program, governance training, and high-end events giving them privileged access to exceptional renowned speakers from all over the world.

FULL PROGRAM

Day 1: Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 5.30 pm to 8 pm

5:30 pm: Welcoming remarks. Caroline Codsi, ICD.D., Founder & Chief Equality Officer, Women in Governance.

5:35 pm: WOMAN the movie, by Anastasia Mikova and Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

By bringing together nearly 2,000 testimonies from women filmed in more than 50 countries, this movie brings women’s lives to the screen underscoring their determination and capacity to change the world, despite the numerous difficulties they face. Caroline Codsi has the honor of being part of the movie and will moderate a fireside chat including the two film makers and a human trafficking survivor who became a triathlete, breaking the Guinness World Record, at the end of the viewing. 11:30 am: Fireside chat Fearless Girl with Kristen Visbal

Kristen Visbal is the sculptor of the famous Fearless Girl bronze sculpture whose feminist message first appeared in Manhattan, has spread all over the world representing a girl four foot high, promoting female empowerment. It is located across from the New York Stock Exchange Building in the Financial District of Manhattan in New York City.
