The Go North Music Festival 2023!
Dear Go North Music Festival Friends,
We are SO EXCITED to be welcoming you back to the 5th annual Go North Music Festival, the Island's Biggest Music Festival!
The Go North Music Festival is a weekend event held on beautiful St. Joseph Island in Richards Landing. We feature a variety of talented and critically acclaimed musical acts from across Canada. This year's headliner is The MONOWHALES, with support from Texas King, Royal Castles, Jeremie Albino, Propter Hawk and The Northwest on Saturday. Gates open for the Saturday event at 3:30pm.
If you like your live music with a country flare, don't miss the Friday night "Go North's Southern Roots" with Nickola Magnolia and Solomon Woodland gates open Friday at 6pm.
Tickets can be purchased for Friday only, Saturday only, or for both nights - whatever works for you!
The festival site features a lush green-space, nestled in the center of old growth maple trees. The Centennial grounds are built for large events, and offer wide open spaces and room to stretch out and make a zone for you and your crew.
We focus on featuring great food vendors. They will be serving up traditional favorites as well as gluten free and vegan options. Don't forget we offer ice cold locally-made craft beer! The Artisan Market showcases local artisans and producers selling hand made local goods.
Go North is a family-friendly event. On Saturday we have activities for kids and a kid’s stage with performances by select main stage acts. Kids 12 and under are FREE! The family zone has games, crafts and a giant community mural project families can contribute to.
Plan your road-trip to include overnight camping under the stars on the concert grounds available Friday and Saturday night. We will again feature our “Fireside Jam” after hours.
A big thank you – audience members, volunteers, donors, sponsors, suppliers and artists. Thank you for your support. For those of you who have been with us in any of the previous four festivals, we have loved spending time with you, and hope to see you again for year five!

FAQ's
Can I bring my Dog to Go North?
No, we are sorry, but some of our human guests are afraid of dogs, and we want to be sure all of our guests have a great time. Dogs are not permitted on the grounds or in the campground.
What are the Campground rules?
Make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are plumbed washrooms on site close to the camping area and a potable water refilling station. Bring a flashlight. You'll need a tent and bedding (Passenger vehicles are not allowed in the campground), or your Trailer (30' trailer max). There are no power hookups. There will be a group campfire, but individual campfires will not be permitted. You may bring a camp stove or small BBQ for cooking. You can bring any food or drink you like to be consumed in the campground only, but NO GLASS please. The campground area is for registered campers only, no guests. You'll get a bracelet that lets our campground gate attendant know you are registered for the campground.
Two adults per tent ticket, 4 adults per trailer ticket. You may have as many kids under 12 as you wish in your tent or trailer.
What can I bring on the Concert Grounds?
This is a licensed event, no outside alcohol will be permitted on the concert grounds. We have a variety of vendors with vegan and gluten free as well as traditional options for food and beverage. We are doing our best to make Go North light on our environmental footprint, so please do feel free to use a refillable water bottle - we have a refilling station on site - bottled water will not be sold by our vendors. Other non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale at our food vendor booths.
Please do bring sunscreen, insect repellant, a hat or umbrella, a blanket or camp chair, and cash for purchasing items with our vendors in case debit/credit is not an option with them.
