Business Reconciliation through the Pandemic and into Recovery.

About this event

Going Forward Together, with Suncor image

Indigenous owned businesses have provided many examples of innovation and resilience during the pandemic. But many have also found it difficult to identify and access programs and infrastructure resources.

This webinar will explore the obstacles and opportunities Indigenous businesses face, and consider the partnerships and collaborations needed in the immediate and long-term to foster recovery.

We will also look at larger business reconciliation efforts and how Indigenous and non-Indigenous owned businesses can continue to work together to promote reconciliation, economic recovery and inclusive growth.

Guest Speakers:

  • Alicia Dubois, CEO Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation
  • Kelly J. Lendsay, President and CEO, Indigenous Works
  • Sheila North, Director, Legacy Bowes Group
  • Tabatha Bull, President and CEO, Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business

Moderated by:

  • Neil Rayner , Leader, Indigenous Affairs, Teck Resources Ltd.
