Event description

Description

“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself” – Andy Warhol

Change can be scary and when new organizational procedures, goals, and values are announced, it can be put both employees and employers on edge. If implemented poorly, change can cause anxiety, frustration, and mistrust within an organization which is why a coordinated, strategic approach to change management is vital for success.

On November 28th, Jane Riddell, President and Chief Operating Officer for GoodLife Fitness will speak to IABC London about a communicator’s role in change management. Riddell will go over best practices and share key lessons her team learned during a recent change implementation at GoodLife, as well as the important roles that internal and external communicators had in the process. This event is presented in partnership with Western Alumni.

IABC Members and Western Alumni are invited to attend a private tour of GoodLife’s state of the art new home office preceding Riddell’s presentation.

Cost: Students $15 | IABC Members $25 | Non-Members $ 35
