Do you have a passion for doing good, but lack the connections to do what you want? Or, maybe, you just want to expand your circle of awesomeness.
How do you do it? Goodworking. It's a quarterly event for people looking to do good to connect to others looking to do good.
Here's what you can expect:
1. A talk by a local peer who's done something interesting or inspiring in the NFP/Social Innovation/Community space.
2. A 5-minute presentation from a local organization to make a pitch for help (fundraising, board members, short-term challenge, whatever).
3. Five 1-minute lightning pitches from people just like you who want to share a great idea. If you've got a great idea and would like to share it, let us know!
4. Time for people to meet new folks, share some food and drink, and see what kind of chemical reactions for good take place.
If that sounds like it might interest you, we hope to see you at 7:00 p.m. on Novemberr 22nd at Baker Street Station.
