Dr. DeWitte-Orr will speak to how flu virus infects, replicates, triggers an immune response. Also as to how flu vaccines work.
Dr. Vance will speak about how to cope through flu season using nutrition.
David Aoki, RN, Public Health Nurse, Infectious Diseases and Tuberculosis Control from Region of Waterloo Public Health will speak about the role of public health during outbreaks and the prevalence in Waterloo Region and Ontario.
