His approach is directly aligned with PMBOK Guide 5th Edition, and was proven through many successful projects that won provincial and national awards and/or were profiled in specialty magazines.
Combining traditional instruction with hands-on exercises and simulations, this session provides practical tools and techniques to identify stakeholders, categorize them, plan for and execute on stakeholder engagement, as well as monitor efficiency and optimize your actions to achieve desired results. It also provides a safe environment to practice effective communication and change facilitation, successful negotiation and conflict resolution.

George Jucan is well known in the project management community as a successful management consultant focused on enabling organizational efficiency through project, program and portfolio management. He is a captivating speaker at public events, motivating trainer and author of high-impact articles.
His career includes methodology definition and capability assessment, business re-engineering and organizational restructuring, projects audit and recovery, as well as hands-on management of projects - many of them winning provincial and national awards, and/or were profiled in specialty magazines.
A renowned expert in standards and methodologies, George is leading the Canadian Standards Mirror Committee at International Organization of Standardization (ISO) for the establishment of Project, Program and Portfolio Management family of standards. He also had leadership positions for PMBOK® Guide 6th, 5th and 4th Edition, PMCDF - 2nd Edition, and Government Extension to PMBOK® Guide - 3rd Edition.
He is an active volunteer within PMI, having held many international and local positions including past President of Southern Ontario Chapter.
