Animal Life Cycles - 6:00pm

Join Dr. Jeffrey Newton, biologist and science outreach specialist, to explore the life cycles of some remarkable animals. There's more than frogs and chicks to the Animal Life Cycles unit. Did you know centipedes lovingly embrace their young, and beetles metamorphose just like butterflies? Learn about these fascinating creatures and more; including information on how to obtain live specimens and engage your students in caring for these animals.

Building & Testing - 7:15pm

Your students are ready to solve-real world design challenges so strengthen your confidence in guiding them through the engineering process. Join Lam Bui, a passionate engineer as you explore shapes, materials and construction techniques that can be translated to your student's own projects. Leave with resources and ideas that will bring meaning to your building & testing units.
