Sky Science - 6:00pm

What would it be like to live in a Mars colony? Find out from Ross Lockwood who spent four months immersed in the HI-SEAS research program; just one of the fascinating pursuits he can share from his quest to discover the universe. Ross is a physicist with a passion for astronomy and a dynamic presenter who captivates audiences. Feel inspired and discover ways to share this curiosity for the cosmos with your students.

Evidence & Investigation - 7:15pm

Gather evidence, make inferences and solve the mystery! Join Jeffrey Newton, ASN’s programs director and science outreach specialist, to build your own crime scene investigation kit! Assemble everything you need to host a mystery in your classroom - complete with suspect profiles and materials needed to carry out seven investigation stations (with chromatography & DNA fingerprinting) Note: $20 from the cost of this workshop goes toward your kit materials.
