Event Information
About this Event
Science is by definition a hands-on endeavour, so how do we get students engaged in a virtual world? Did you know that there are actually many resources available to you? The difficulty is finding them, taking the time to test them, and then figuring out how to utilize them. Luckily, ATA Science Council Outstanding Science Teacher Award winner Amanda Green has done the leg work for you. Please join us as Ms. Green walks us through a comprehensive review of relevant and engaging science resources available to you right now. We will learn about keeping students engaged in a virtual environment, coding, creating at-home-labs, virtual-classroom guest presentations, virtual field trips, and even how to evaluate your students. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to get your students excited about science!
