Event description

Description

The Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies is one of North America’s leading institutes for the study of the member states of the European Union, the countries of the former Soviet Union, and Central and Eastern Europe. The Centre promotes interdisciplinary scholarship and teaching in the social sciences and humanities. Drawing upon the expertise of more than fifteen departments and dozens of faculty members, CERES sponsors a two-year Master of Arts degree program in European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies that is recognized as one of the best of its kind in North America. The MA Program educates students at the graduate level in languages, history, politics, economics and societies of Europe, Russia, and Eurasia and engages them in a comprehensive, rigorous and hands-on study program. The degree equips its graduates with the knowledge required for careers dealing with the region. CERES provides generous funding to MA candidates through fellowships or financial support for internships and study abroad opportunities.
