Grand Masonic Day is the premier event for Masonic Education and Research in the Grand Jurisdiction of British Columbia & Yukon. For over 30 years thought provoking content and original research has been shared in the interest of expanding and deepening our knowledge of the Craft and related fields of inquiry.

This year an international array of speakers make this a truly watershed moment for GMD as well as the Vancouver Lodge of Education and Research, who hosts this event. Speakers this year include:

Martin P. Starr - Bro Starr is an author, esoteric researcher, President of the Scottish Rite Cathedral Society and Vice-President of the Scottish Rite Research Society. Bro. Starr's books and papers which include The Unkown God : W.T. Smith and the Thelemites (2003) and numerous other works he has translated or edited have covered such topics as Neo-rosicrucianism, Theosophy, Masonic rituals and orders and other related fields of inquiry.

Frank Albo - Bro Allbo is a Huygens Scholar in the Department of Hermetic Philosophy and Related Currents at the University of Amsterdam and a Doctoral Candidate in the History of Architecture at the University of Cambridge, UK. His writing on sacred architecture, iconagrphy and public buildings is widely acclaimed.

We will also hear presentations from the Grand Master of BC & Yukon, Most Worshipful Bro. Donald E Stutt, Junior Grand Warden R.W. Bro. Ian Bowman and Grand Masonic Day Coordinator W. Bro Wes Regan from the Vancouver Lodge of Education and Research.

A panel discussion on the state of Masonic properties and future considerations for asset management in the Craft will be moderated by W. Bro Wes Regan.
