Event description

Description

You have been identified as a Key Grand River industry stakeholder and your participation is needed to build on collaborations underway to enhance the Grand River Destination Experience for Locals and Visitors.

BACKGROUNDER: The Grand River is a significant regional toursim asset that flows through the heart of Southern Ontario and through the tourism regions of RTO 1, 3, and 4 and engages many stakeholders along the River. Visitation by locals and visitors has increase in recent yers which has generated increated activity on-the-river and off-the-river with increased economic spin-off for tourism busiensses and operators.

To help with future visitor growth of the Grand River Destination, the 3 RTOs collaborated together to develop the Grand River Access Point Standard Manual and the Grand River style guide. It is time now for all the Grand River stakeholders to meet up again, share information on many fronts including the piloting of access launch points, Grand River Trail hiking and cycling development. More importantly, we would like to focus on how we continue to gwon the Grand River Destination in collaboration, amplifying and leveraging all stakeholder resources and efforts to maximize and sustain the one-of-a-kind natue adenture experience to be discovered along the Grand River corridor.

We value your time and thank you in advance for your consideration. An agenda will be prepared to maximize conversations and help identify next steps.
